Patia, Columbia

What a day! 450km road from “bad” gravel, kind of highway and mountain road. Everything included, dust, water, zones, curves …. curves, road block, the second time for a bicycle competition (I think they follow us?!), road closure for a traditional horse parade, some “go around” ….

Tomorrow we will try  to cross the border to Ecuador.

Salento, Columbia

We got the bikes, yesterday! After five our at the cargo terminal we drove back to our hotel in Bogota. Yeah, on the road again.

Today we rode to a nice little tourist town. At 2000m elevation is our place to sleep.

Today that’s all what I’m able to tell you because I’m fricken tired.

Bogotá, Colombia

We made it into Colombia. After a two hour flight and an hour immigration we walked two the other side of the airport to pick up our motos. Sorry guys the aircraft is still in Panama. Some repairs are necessary. The flight will be tonight, Mañana!

We Just received a mail …. Sorry guys,

Hostel Mamallena, Panama City, Panama

Holy moly what week a weekend! I still cannot really believe what happen.

Saturday 9pm one of the guys who want to take the same ferry to Colombia was knocking on our door and ask me about an email he received from the captain.

What I have to read wasn’t really what I want to read.

(still) Panama City, Panama

Three days left, then we’re one our boat to Colombia!

Panama is a nice little country. Relative good developed at least here in the city and the other cities I have seen so far. Black and white are very close, but I think like everywhere in the world. The skyline of the city looks much more metropolitan than the skyline from Vancouver.

Panama City, Panama

Today I picked up my daughter at the airport. Finally after some trouble and struggle she made it. Now I already figured out how to get us to Colombia. Unfortunately we will stuck here for awhile. It’s not really high season here and so the boats or ferries going irregularly. At least I got a place on a ferry and we go parallel with a catamaran.
