Arriaga, Chiapas, Mexico

Just approximately 250km left to the Guatemalan border. I’m mot sure we make it over tomorrow, it depends on the time we arrive and we need to get the paperwork done. I don’t like it to arrive at foreign territory too late. Let’s see.

Today we end up in a little town, called Arriaga. We found a nice place to stay, so we call it a day relative early and enjoyed the Sunday afternoon here. I’m not sure, I guess it is a typical south Mexican small town.

We also left the hostal very early, after a really unpleasant night. Cheap!, I made a big mistake. No air-condition only a ventilator. The ventilator mounted to a sealing, the ventilator very old, the sealing very weak and it was fr… loud. I had the feeling to lay under a helicopter rotor and I prayed: “Please stay up there!” By this full speed spectacle, we would easily beheaded. Now I also play the nurse roll. Serafina looks like a “Streuselkuchen”, we not really know what it was, flies, bugs or mosquito’s, something seems to like here blood. I  feel so sorry for her.
