Holy Moly, it’s hot. Only 35 and I’m close to a stroke …. heat stroke.
I think I have to change my dress, maybe should get rid of one or two layer, People looking at me like I’m from another universe. On the other hand, what’s good again the cold is also good against the heat. But really …. I’m not sure this is true.

This I wrote two days ago when I arrived in Newman (CA) at a little private owned campground.
Today is another story, it’s just a usual summer day here on the coast south of San Francisco and in San Francisco. That’s what people telling me. Cold in the morning and usual it warms up when the sun „eats“ all the fog coming in from the coast ….. maybe.

I went to San Francisco and I was happy to wear the two additional layer of cloth. It wasn’t really warm, even in San Francisco. It is a nice town, it’s fun to ride there, hill up, hill down.

But the fog, not so into town, but I was barely able to see the famous „Golden Gate Bridge“.

On the other hand, now I can imagine how it was 150 years ago when you have to cross the bay at a ferry. Someone remember the first episode from the „Seewolf“, when Hump felled into the water and his big adventure begun? It’s history.

The way back to my „home“ I rod the Hwy 1 on the coast down. I guess without fog, you will have really nice views. OK, even with fog it was very nice. Even the traffic wasn’t too bad for a Saturday.

Tomorrow, I will move on. Slab City a place south-east, direction Arizona is my goal. I think I will need two days to get there.

Holy sh…, just take a look at my odometer. I planed roughly 5000km in the USA, hm, I’m already 30% over. Let’s change the calculation to miles, then I’m still in!
