Tomorrow Mexico!

So, this was the USA.

Yesterday I don’t make it to Slab City (CA), just too far at this climate, so I have to keep it for next time.

But I love the dessert, I don’t no why but it’s unbelievable here. It is an amazing ride to the Sierra Mountain, up and down, right and left and again and again.

When I came down to Palm Dessert (CA), holy moly it becomes hot. I was low on gas, has to stop at a gas station to fill up. I wont go out to the pump, I wont jump on the bike …… just everything is burning hot. I have seen 44.5.

Today, even in the morning the heat caught me. Death Valley, was „Pillepalle“ compare to this. Hwy 80 runs all the way down west of Salton Sea, an artificial or better accidently existing lake. Like everywhere here in California, the level is low and the water looks not really healthy.

The interstate #8 runs thru a valley what is for a long stretch below sea level or just around it. Up to 45 …. in the small towns I went thru, over 40 when I keep going fast. I was so happy to wear gloves, because if you have to pull the clutch or break, it’s really hot! Here 1000m above sea level, in the early afternoon, it’s cold, only 35.

So bye bye America …… it’s not true,  I have to say bye bye North America …. even about this many people disagree.
