Finally I’m able to send my first „real“ post.
Border crossing was without any hassle, like I expected. I guess it was one of the easy on on my way down. I just take some interstates to make some mileage, stayed overnight on the loudest campground I ever did, in Benton City(WA). Take a look into the map? Which map, Southern Western America? Surprise surprise, the map starts a bit north of San Francisco. Hm, buy a new one? No, just use the GPS but change the setting to – no interstates!
Lovely roads the next day, such a nice ride. I just entered Salt Lake City as next destination. I was wondering, going east, east, east. Hm, Salt Lake is somewhere southeast. „Welcome in Montana“? Something is wrong here. I ended up in Bitterfoot(MA). Not really south.
OK, tomorrow. Of course, it was an awesome thunderstorm overnight, the flashes and thunders direct above my head. Lucky me I’m in my tiny tiny tent flat on the ground. Nothing to worry about.
Yesterday it was again an unexpected amazing ride thru the mountain, passes from over 2000m, temperatures down to 6 degree later up to 24 when I came into Idaho again. To my surprise, the whole area is above 1000m.
Twin Falls is my actually destination. Will stay today here to explore the surroundings. Talk you later guys.
