One hour left to the next border. Nicaragua is close, at least at the map (we don’t have one!). I’m surprised we made it this far. We started really early, figured out really soon that to reach our goal will be hard. Damn, pot holes here in Honduras are different, they are deep, really deep and the trafic …. lets call it heavy. On the other hand we had long stretches of very nice „highway“, on this stretches we made some distance. Today was also our first day with rain. Almost the whole second half it was raining, not heavy but enough to get wet. But there is a huge difference between our Alaska trip last year and this time, the temperature! Not down to almost zero, always over fifteen! I hope we arrive at the border relative dry. Let’s see.
